The Right-of-Way Department of Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc., (AECI), has served the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas and a number of other utilities since its inception in 1959.

The department's crews use a variety of equipment, including a new high-tech SkyTrim vehicle, to clear and maintain rights of way along power lines for cooperatives in Arkansas and surrounding states. In emergency situations, such as ice and snow storms, tornadoes, and floods, the department provides crews and equipment to assist with clean-up efforts.
